Anurita Varma defends her clients against a broad range of claims, including class action wage-and-hour disputes, employment matters and complex civil and commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Call & Jensen, Ms. Varma worked at a large national law firm where she focused her practice on high-profile, complex civil litigation matters. Throughout her career, Ms. Varma also developed expertise in trademark enforcement and defending against trademark and copyright infringement claims.
Ms. Varma earned her Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of California, Davis School of law. During law school, Ms. Varma was a board member of Moot Court, and a Senior Interview Editor for the Business Law Journal. She was also one of few law students selected for the Diversity Fellowship Program. Ms. Varma earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Despite the hustle-and-bustle of a career as an attorney, Ms. Varma finds the time to be active in her community. Ms. Varma serves as an executive member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (“TiE”), an organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship within the South Asian community. Ms. Varma is also passionate about volunteering with Girls, Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring girls to be smart, strong and bold.
Ms. Varma’s hobbies include hot yoga, trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
