Jacqueline Beaumont is a seasoned employment litigator and outside counsel with a particular expertise in wage-and-hour law, where she has successfully prevailed in, dismissed, or resolved over 100 employment class actions and PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases. She focuses her practice on representing clients facing complex employment matters, and has successfully defended discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases throughout California.

- A leading university in winning a motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit, and successfully defeating appeals up to the Supreme Court.
- A major lending institution in a series of wage and hour class action and PAGA lawsuits.
- A Fortune 50 company in achieving summary judgment against a variety of harassment, discrimination and negligent hiring claims, and continued representation in successfully defending the judgment on appeal.
- A local employer in securing a complete arbitration defense victory against claims alleging disability discrimination, retaliation, and failure to accommodate.
Ms. Beaumont also acts as an outside general employment advisor to a number of her clients, who range from multiple Fortune 500 companies to family-owned businesses. She is well-versed in the business concerns and practical needs of her clients, having previously worked in the in-house employment law department of a large public company. She has broad expertise in all related areas of advising, including drafting and implementing workplace policies, guiding employee investigations and terminations, overseeing reductions in force, and negotiating executive agreements.
Super Lawyers has recognized Ms. Beaumont as a “Super Lawyer” for the past six years, and as a “Rising Star” multiple times previously, where she was listed as one of Orange County’s “Top 25 Up-And-Coming Attorneys” and one of Southern California’s “Up-And-Coming 50 Women.” She has been honored as a “Women in Business” nominee by the Orange County Business Journal, and a “Woman Making a Difference” by the County of Orange. Ms. Beaumont is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Orange County Bar Association Labor & Employment Section, and a past Director for the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.
Ms. Beaumont received her Juris Doctorate in 2007 from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, Ms. Beaumont served as a Judicial Extern on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office. Ms. Beaumont obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, cum laude, from the University of California, Davis, and studied at the Institut d’Études Politiques in Paris, France. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Call & Jensen, Ms. Beaumont was an associate with Morrison & Foerster LLP, and worked at public relations firms in Beijing and San Francisco.
