Travis Beck represents clients in various civil litigation matters including labor & employment, business litigation, commercial litigation, intellectual property, and real estate.
Prior to joining Call & Jensen, Mr. Beck practiced at a boutique law firm focused on labor & employment representing aggrieved employees in a variety of matters. He has managed cases in both state and federal court and arbitration proceedings throughout every phase, including initial pleadings, discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, mediation, settlement, and trial. He actively litigates each case and has prepared many cases for trial, advocating to achieve the best results for his clients, including obtaining numerous favorable settlements. Mr. Beck now brings his litigation experience to represent plaintiffs and defendants at Call & Jensen.
Mr. Beck earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, while also receiving a certificate from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. During law school, Mr. Beck gained essential legal experience by working for a business litigation firm in Pennsylvania, assisting in-house counsel for a major real estate investment group, and serving as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. Moreover, Mr. Beck gained hands-on experience in the Disaster Relief Clinic assisting individuals whose lives were insurmountably affected by the Woolsey fire – the largest recorded fire in the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area. Additionally, as a member of Pepperdine’s Startup Law Clinic, Mr. Beck assisted new entrepreneurs with entity formation, capitalization, corporate governance, user agreements, angel investor financings, and venture capital.
Mr. Beck graduated from Central Washington University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a dual minor in Philosophy and Law & Justice.
